Darcy resides on a farm with her husband just outside Rochester, Minnesota. Having retired from the Mayo Clinic, she no longer begins her mornings with phlebotomy duties at the hospital. Now, she eagerly embraces the early hours, still bursting with enthusiasm to greet each day. Cooking serves as her therapeutic outlet, while her passion for gardening finds her happily immersed in the soil, eagerly anticipating the fruits of her green thumb.

Whether experimenting with new recipes, knitting, or relishing time spent with her eight beautiful grandchildren, with another on the way, Darcy proudly embodies the role of YaYa, a devoted and loving grandmother.
